WINNERS OF 2019 III STUDIES X LA BOTANICA

III STUDIES is an annual talent contest among stylists, photographers and makeup artists.
This year III STUDIES collaborated with La Botanica Magazine to unite and coordinate young artists around the magazine’s aesthetic.

The idea of III STUDIES is to help boost the careers of the winners of the competition. From the pool of applicants, 10 editorials were selected to compete for a $500 grand prize for the best photographer and a chance to see work published in La Botanica Magazine, and two runner-up prizes for best stylist and best make up artist.

The finalists were announced this June 2019 and the winners were decided on by a panel of judges including, Stefania Chekalina (fashion stylist), Daria Kruchinina (make-up artist), Irina Chernyak ( Editor in Chief of La Botanica Magazine) and Kaha Kvaratshelia (founder of beauty project KRASOTA). The winner of the Best Photographer Prize this year was Ilsina Rezyapova, who beat out editorial named Thirst for life. The recipient of this year’s Best Stylist Prize was Tatiana Kuhareva, who won the opportunity of one month internship as a fashion stylist assistant to Stefania Chekalina in NYC.

Founded by Stefania Chekalina and Daria Kruchinina III STUDIES gives a unique opportunity for young talents to build personal contacts with the industry leaders. Stefania Chekalina’s editorial work appears in numerous acclaimed publications worldwide, including: Visionaire, Ukraine and Italian Vogue, Elle Russia, L’officiel Ukraine. Metropolitan Eyewear, Fakoshima, Forms Studio among the numerous clients that Stefania consults with frequently on advertising campaigns. As a professional makeup artist, Daria Kruchinina works with magazines on editorials and expert opinion articles, lookbooks, and e-commerce content projects.Her works were published in Vogue, L’Officiel, L'officiel Hommes.

III STUDIES is open to the artists of any nationality who are based in Russia. All selected finalists for the III STUDIES will be offered guidance during this year on artistic identity from each jury of the competition.
